Sewer utility revenue up $83 thousand compared with same period in 2012 – in part because of new connections at Canyon Desert villas.
Sewer expenses up $74, 500 compared with same period last year in part attributable to a third utility operator hired and four unexpected issues where problem areas needed attention.
Water Utility revenue up $129, 600 due to rate increases and some rural parcels billed for water that had not paid in previous years.
Water utility expenses up by $78,200 due to canal maintenance costs, third operator and pump maintenance.
General Fund
Revenue is down – less building permits and less transfer payments from other governments.
Expenses are down because of adjustments made to the number of personnel on staff and less expenditures on studies.
