Town of Oliver will commence drilling a new well now that a tender has been granted.

Successful bidder Robbins Drilling and Pump Ltd. has received a contract in the amount of $107,668.00 for the Buchanan Rd Well.

This new well will increase the capacity of the water utility and allow for better quality water to fuel the pressurized system.

Actually two wells will be drilled: one 10 inch well and a second 16 inches.

Council will send out requests for proposals on managing Centennial Park. Three companies/organizations had expressed an interest including the incumbent.

The request will be for a 5 year lease to manage the park from April to October. There will be a one year escape clause for either party.
