This is a campsite used by travellers/pickers and quite visible to those on the east side of the valley looking west to Oliver Mountain.

Closest corner  is Hillside Place and Hillside Street just west of Hwy 97 and north of Leighton Crescent.

This is the site of at least one recent fire call, police inspection and involvement of bylaw services from the Town.

Many comments on Facebook today about this situation. It take the cooperation of property owners and the authorities to come to a solution on this situation.

Most would say and agree ‘this is not the place’ for camping.
