Harry Wingenback

December 22, 1940 – October 19, 2013

 

On Saturday October 19, 2013, Mr. Harry (Hwy) Wingenback of Osoyoos passed away peacefully at SOGH in Oliver.

He was predeceased by his mother Emma and his father Kasper.

Harry will be lovingly remembered by his wife Blanche of 48 years; his son Grant (Nina) as well as family Edgar (Yolanda), Jim (Cindy) and Shirley (Marty); nieces and nephews Ryan (Krystal), Tonya (Kourosh) and their children Kourosh Jr. and Miley, Tyler (Amanda) and their son Mason, Jessica (Zane), Shawn, Sara (Jenn) and Derek (Marissa).

Hwy will be remembered for his many years of service in the local Napa store in Oliver, which he started in 1973.

The family would like to express a heartfelt thank you to the staff at SOGH and Dr. Tarr for all their care and compassion.

A rosary service will be held at St. Anne’s Catholic Church at 7:00 P.M. Tuesday October 22, 2013. A funeral mass will be celebrated by Fr. Harry Clarke at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday October 23, 2013 at St. Anne’s Catholic Church. Interment and committal will follow at the Osoyoos Lakeview Cemetery. A reception hosted by the CWL in the church lower hall will follow the interment.
