Okanagan Regional Library board of trustees will meet next Wednesday and review proposals for a small budget hike for operations.
Total budget in 2013 – 16.6 million dollars
The budget will increase by only 1.56% but taxpayers will pay more at the rate mentioned in the headline. The difference a reduction in other types of revenue.
Last year – The Okanagan Regional Library board adopted a budget for 2013 – a 3.35 per cent increase, or $538,103 more than the preceding year.
