Lots of action this week with a frontage road being stripped of asphalt in preparation for the laying of trunk lines for water and sewer services from OIB to Deer Park MHÂ and all points in between on west side of Highway 97.
Regional Area Director Allan Patton says the project is financed by Deer Park Estates but many other local businesses and homes will connect to the services over time with gas tax revenue being used to help make connections off the main line.
The project will be completed by Pyramid Construction of Kelowna.
One business to be served is Dubh Glas Distillery which is under construction at Gallagher Lake.
