A report to next week’s School trustees meeting indicates that a two year contract with non-teaching staff will cost:
$102,000 in 2013/14
and
$189,000 in 2014/15
Members of CUPE working for School District #53 will receive a hike in pay of 3.5% in three lifts: Retroactive to July 1st 2013, one in February and another in May of 2014.
The district has to now submit a savings plan to fund this increases.
