Members of the Oliver Volunteer Fire Department help with a move tonight – all the interior racks and shelves needed to be moved from the Thrift Shop on Kootenay Street to allow for a long overdue re-fit of the floor.

The new lino floor + plus a subfloor costing about $9000 should be installed in the next couple of weeks and the store will re-open to customers October 1st.

The next time the firemen are having a dinner – look for who is helping out in the kitchen.
