The 2013 BC Thanksgiving Food Drive in Oliver collected 5500 lbs. of food. That’s 1100 lbs. more than last year a 25% improvement. We had 50 volunteers helping with delivery, pick up and sorting. I would love to thank the community for their tremendous support, it is very needed, and without them the drive would not be close to the success it is. I would also like to thank the community partners, the Oliver/Osoyoos Sikh Temple, Oliver Super Valu, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, the Oliver Food Bank and Oliver Dental Care who all provided help with food, volunteers and/or other in-kind donations.
