“Sadly, Cody O’Conner passed away Friday, Sept. 13th in the early part of the afternoon after being taken off of life support.
He spent his last moments of life in a beautiful sunny garden. He was moved Thursday to ‘Canuck Place” – hospice so that his family members could be closer to him.
Funds will continue to be raised to support the family with burial costs and recovering from losses from the Oliver fire.”
The eight-year-old boy who was pulled from a burning motorhome August 28th at Oliver’s Centennial Park had been flown to the Children’s Hospital in Vancouver.

The boy’s father David Pilloud has confirmed his passing at 2:45 pm Friday.
