Have not heard about any damage from the overnight rainstorm and lightening show.

Environment Canada seems to think we are not over it yet.

Last night the alarm bells at SOSS were going crazy with Oliver Department dispatched there at about 9:30. Same alarm went off this morning. Firemen then diverted to what was thought to be a grass fire on the dyke near Thorpe Bridge. Probably fireworks. And yes to keep this in the weather vein – there was visible lightening at 10 pm
