The BC River Forecast Centre is ending the High Stream flow advisory for:

• Similkameen River near Hedley

• South Okanagan area creeks and rivers

The Similkameen River and the other smaller rivers and creeks have responded slightly to the rainfall event last night and this morning (September 6, 2013). As rain has eased or ended and significant additional rainfall amounts are not expected, Environment Canada has ended the Rainfall Warning for this region this morning. The river levels are still rising slightly, but no significant rises are expected at this time.

The River Forecast Centre will continue to monitor the conditions and will provide updates as required.
