Snug as a bug in a rug until about 7:00 this morning when thunder woke me to the point of how weather affects us.

Kids walking to school getting soaked, lawns getting some free irrigation and farmers all working hard to make a living despite storms, rain, hail….and wind that can really hurt.

Some farmers expressing that last week’s bad storm did much damage but others saying the one last year was worse. It’s a part of business and nothing can really be done about it.

There is nothing consistent about Oliver weather – sand storm at 4pm – calm at the dinner hour.

Cold and windy at 2pm – swimming in the hot sun two hours later.
