This is an application for an exemption from the Town of Oliver’s Firearms and Explosives Bylaw for the purpose of wildlife control on specified public lands for the Canada Goose hunting season from September 20 – November 28, 2013; December 20, 2013 – January 5, 2014; February 21 – March 10, 2014.

Council has authorized a total of six exemptions to be issued. Primary selection will be made on the basis of qualifications, experience, insurance coverage and commitment to this project. Where a surplus number of qualified applications are received, final selection will be made by draw.

In addition to this municipal exemption, selected applicants must continue to abide with all applicable federal and provincial regulations.
