Oliver Fire Department spokesman Rob Graham was asked for an update on two fires in this area.

OFD called Sunday 3:27 pm to the Southwinds parking lot where a truck engine was showing smoke. A truck arrived with a crew but the fire appeared to be out.

Tuesday 3:21 pm, fire crews called to Thorpe Road and Black Sage Rd where a high pressure FortisBC gas line had been punctured. OFD crews supervised the scene until gas utility technicians arrived.
