Henry Baptiste, 40, of OliverĀ has been handed 12 months of probation with a suspended sentence after a brief court hearing today in Penticton. Baptiste pled guilty to the charge brought against him.
Conditions of probation – no drugs or drug paraphilia in home, no drug use or weapons. Court was told Baptiste has as job and is in a position to be a contributing members of society. $1800 seized was to be returned to Baptiste.

Members of the Regional GIS, Oliver RCMP and Penticton Police Dog Service executed a Controlled Drugs & Substances Act search warrant at one residence located on OIB reserve Thursday.
The two adult males were arrested at the residence and a search resulted in the location and seizure of various drug related items including: 21.26 grams of methamphetamine (suspected); cash; an airsoft rifle that closely resembled a real firearm; and ammunition for a .308 Winchester rifle.

A second man was released.
