Eyewitness report: “We came upon an accident that had just happened right next to the rest area at the Yellow Lake. It appears a car and a motorcycle collided and there were at least 3 ambulances in attendance along with a fire rescue vehicle and several RCMP members. It was apparent that the injuries were pretty severe. The highway was closed for at least a couple hours, and was still closed to traffic both directions when we gave up and returned to Keremeos and came home through Osoyoos.

8:55 p.m. update: Vehicle incident 15 km from Keremeos is now clear.

3:43 p.m. Kaleden FD dispatched to accident ( “major incident” ) on Highway 3A between Keremeos and Highway 97 Junction closed traffic in both directions.
