bomb damage222Time: Pipe bomb most likely explored over night Saturday (Sunday morning) in the wee hours.

Location: Alley of 600 Block  – Earle Crescent, Oliver BC

Car: Owned by Lee Ann Wilson (according to Castanet who spoke to a neighbour) – damaged car picture first shown on Facebook.

Confusion: First thought to be damage by lightning because of loud thunder that night.

A neighbour who noticed damage to a garage took shrapnel to the police for analysis and they investigated further on Monday – with bomb squad members coming Tuesday.

The neighbourhood is now clear of RCMP officers.
