Elsewhere three lightning strikes came to the attention of BC Forests in the Penticton district with a 3 man crew responding to each:

Mica Creek, McKinney Rd, and Anarchist Mtn. Non of the fires caused a serious problem and crews were mopping up at last report.

The Oroville fire is east of the airport and has been burning in grassland above the valley floor.
