The first of two overhauls have been completed on Bell 412 Classics for Wood Buffalo Helicopters of Fort McMurray.
“The completion of the first helicopter for Wood Buffalo marks a significant event in our ongoing commitment to providing quality overhaul work for a reasonable cost. This first machine was totally rebuilt from skid to head,” said Ernst-Ulrich Maas, President/CEO of Transwest Helicopters. “I am very proud of our team of professionals that worked hard to get this done on time, and on budget,” he continued. “Without the dedication and support of everyone that was part of this process and the long hours that were required of them, this would have been a much more difficult task.”
Transwest Helicopters operates a fleet of Bell 214B, Bell 412 and A-Star 350 B2 helicopters. Transwest Helicopters is a Bell Authorized Service Center that specializes in major component overhaul and complete refit for the Bell medium family of helicopters and is also a Honeywell Licensed Support Facility.
