Time: 1:40pm Saturday
Location: Highway 97 – just south of Road Two
Collision between Yellow motorcycle and Blue truck
Driver of cycle thrown off  and taken to hospital. Extent of injuries unknown.

One witness travelling south told ODN “the motorcycle was travelling
northbound but on the shoulder. The truck was attempting to pass or go around
when the motorcycle veered into the paved lane.”

The driver of the truck told ODN “I was driving down the road and he cut straight into the highway. I wasn’t going around him or anything, he just cut right into traffic and I hit him.”

Truck showed impact damage on passenger side.
RCMP are investigating.
