Employees at the new BC RCMP (E
) Division Headquarters hosted their first Blood Donor Clinic on Thursday July, 25. E
Division has joined the Canadian Blood Services Partners of Life
program and pledged 275 blood donations a year. Over 100 donors attended the Clinic and donated 93 units of blood, including 52 new donors and there was a long waitlist of people wanting to give blood.
It’s the right thing to do,
says Superintendent Brad Haugli, Lower Mainland District Investigative Services Officer. One day, you or your family or friends may need blood. You want to help someone in need who desperately requires blood.
This week, the Canadian Blood Services activated their Blood Signal
indicating that there is an increased need for blood donations.
Brad is former Penticton Inspector and supervisor of all detachments in our sub-region.
