Tired forestry wild fireman – heads to Penticton to rest. Fresh crews coming in to deal with hot spots – No aerial fight this morning observed at 8am. Ministry says fire 70 percent contained.

Human caused 70 hectare mountain-side wild fire on White Lake Rd, Upper Willowbrook Road and Yellow Brick Rd. 12 homes placed on alert overnight but traffic has resumed with no police or ambulance presence. Skeleton crew from local fire department and Ministry of Forests fire crews switching out. The worst is over and mopping up will ensure that the fire boundaries do not extend outward.
