Former Publisher of the Herald and Oliver resident Andre Martin is running for council in the Peach City.

Martin made his announcement Sunday on Facebook and later to the Herald.

This is the second man with an Oliver connection to dabble in Penticton politics.

Hart Buchendahl, former Mayor of Oliver says he is interested in running for council as well but has not made a formal announcement.
