One leg of the 3 phase power was out overnight. Fortis found that a fuse failed and were able to fix the problem. The entire mall (Oliver Place Mall) was out till approximately 8:30 am.

All the Super Valu early staff bakers, meat cutters , produce had to wait till Fortis found the problem, “if the transformer was out we would not have been able to open for some time” said owner Wally Brogan.

Brogan called Don Thompson and asked if we could rent his refer unit and he was there in minutes ready to help. He stood by with the refer unit turned on at the back of the store ready to back in the loading dock.

As it turned out Fortis was able to fix the one leg of the 3 phase power and we were able to open 1/2 hour late Saturday.
