The wildfire north of Oliver was on McIntyre Bluff.
The fire is estimated at 4.9 hectares in size. Wednesday there were 23 firefighters working to establish a hand guard around the perimeter as well as extinguish hot spots. One helicopter was also used to move equipment and water to the fire site. The fire is now 100% contained. This is suspected to be a lightning caused wildfire.
Today on site three firefighters will be patrolling the fire.
