William Frank (Bill) Martino August 26, 1935 – July 6, 2013

 

Devoted husband, loving father and caring grandfather, Bill passed away peacefully at 4:30am on July 6 in West Vancouver. Bill is survived by his sisters Victoria, Pearl and Happy; his brother Mickey; his sons Bill Jr., Tony, Dorey and Chad; his daughter Tiffany; and his grandchildren Ryan, Monty, Oliver, Thea, Madeline, Isabella, and Wyatt. A true son of the Okanagan, Bill’s early passions were baseball, basketball and fishing. He moved to Vancouver in the late 1960s to start his family and build his practice, becoming a trusted and respected insurance broker known throughout BC. He retained many of his early passions, but most of all, his greatest passion was and remained to his last day, his wife and true love Gloria, with whom he is again reunited. Following his wishes, Bill’s ashes will be returned to his Southern Okanagan home to rest in the places he loved most.
