Former Oliver girl, Mandy Sousa would like to thank everyone who made it out to the African Fundraiser on Saturday! It was a huge success and I was able to raise just over $3000.

Uganda Kyampisi Childcare Ministries and I are very grateful for your support. Your money will go a long way and make a major impact over there! The winner of the raffle draws went to Linda Horn and Mavis Grant. The winner of the highest bid on the elephant photograph went to Stephanie Tubbs, the drum went to David and Donna Lee-Arnold, and the bed donated by Belleville and Sons Fine Rustic Furniture went to Janel Radies. Also a special thanks to Quinta Ferreira and Jackson Triggs  for donating wine for the raffle draw. Thanks to my bakers: the Johnston, Insley and Clarke family. And a very special thanks to Athina’s for letting me host this event. It was so amazing to see these local businesses and the people of Oliver unite for Africa.
