More than 7 thousand dollars raised to help those in need for owners forced out of their homes at Park Place in Oliver according to organizer Beth Garrish.

Money raised by meal ticket sales, 50/50 and silent auction items.

Stuart Syme who spoke for the owners – said some may have to leave Oliver temporarily but will be back for sure.

A great event, wonderful food and cheer, nice people, a great community event in a grand location on a hot summer night.
