Family Life Programme – trustees have reversed an earlier decision to cut this contracted position from the School District. Staff had recommended that this programme could be done by teachers and a saving of about $20,000 could be made to help with budget cuts for the 2013-2014 year. After some discussion – they have decided to find that money elsewhere and continue the use of a trained educator on a contracted basis.
