Okanagan Regional Library Special Board Meeting Report for June 25, 2013

The board of the Okanagan Regional Library met by teleconference on the morning of June 25th, 2013 where they discussed and approved a motion to proceed with an external “Value for Money” review  as recommended by the Policy and Planning Committee.

Executive Director Stephanie Hall noted that is good practice to review policy, procedures and finances on a regular basis and that this is the first of two reviews that will be done over the next few months. The second review will be internal and will look at organizational structure.

The results of the review will be brought to the board where any issues that arise will be addressed.
