The public is invited to the 50th Anniversary Celebration of the Osoyoos & District Museum and Archives on Saturday, June 15.
From its beginnings in an old log building on Main Street, to the former curling rink at Gyro Park today, to its new future location on Main Street, the museum plays a vital role in Osoyoos – telling the stories of its diverse people, describing the unique landscape, and exhibiting its remarkable history. The museum has grown through the support of people like yourself who recognize the value of what we do and our vision to make the museum a place where the community comes together.
We would be honoured if you are able to attend our festivities on June 15 from 1 pm to 4pm, at the Museum, 19 Park Place. We will be celebrating with a concert by the Kettle Valley Brakemen, showcasing new exhibits, and presenting plans for our new museum, as well as serving a special anniversary cake and refreshments.
