Paving the east hike and bike path – this project is now in progress – a $70 thousand paving contract was awarded to MacKinley-Clark Paving. The contract will include grading/grubbing surface and removal of excess organic material, replacing crush gravel and paving a 50mm thick asphalt surface 2.5 metres wide with a crush shoulder on each side. The town received a grant in the amount of $152 thousand which will be used for capital enhancements.
