Someone has a beaver trap set at the north end of the hike and bike trail.  I don’t know if it’s legal or not but I don’t think traps along a public trail are a good idea.  People walk with their dogs off leash all the time on that trail.  The dogs are in and out of the water all the time there and could be hurt badly or killed by a trap.  I have tried contacting the conservation people but they don’t seem very interested.  I thought people should at least know that it is there.
