RDOS directors are likely to agree to a request from Interior Health for another $200,000 to start off the creation of a business plan as agreed to by the provincial government – that request to be debated next Thursday.
The business plan has to be done prior to construction tendering.
In a letter to the OS Regional Hospital District, IH outlines just how much an earlier concept plan cost and how it was funded.
That plan could have cost almost a million dollars but came in at $829,033 with the lion’s share bourne by local taxpayers at $529 thousand.
Recommendation from RDOS Manager Bill Newall – pay the bill of $200,000 as requested.
