Rocky  Fortune is the foal that was born June 1st, 2012 on range land in Penticton.

He was abandoned by his mother upon birth and then attacked by the herd stallion  – he has been cared for at a farm in Summerland since that time – Rocky is a  fighter and has pulled through with flying colours – he is thriving and  growing!

June 1st, 2013, at 2 – 5 pm we are planning a birthday celebration  to mark Rocky’s first birthday – he is a yearling now! This event will be a  way for us to say thank you to the many people who supported him during this  first year and it will also be an information event to let people know how  everyone can help rescue horses in need, along with an open house at our farm –  come meet the Curlies (there are new babies!).
