On May 7, 2013 the Osoyoos RCMP responded to a head on collision 5km east of Osoyoos on Highway 3.  Prior to the collision a 2010 Honda CRV was observed swerving in the road prior to passing a witness and then crossing a double solid line colliding head on into a 1997 Honda CRV.  The offending driver displayed symptoms of impairment and failed a road side alcohol test. He was issued a 90 day driving prohibition.   The second vehicle was occupied by two adults and a child.  They were transported to the hospital for assessment however none had any overt injuries.

On May 8, 2013 someone entered and stole from a boat while it was parked in the owners parkade.  The suspect stole a Minn-Kota motor and a Hummingbird PiranhaMax 160 fish finder.

On May 10, 2013 two vehicles were entered and items stolen after their windows were smashed while parked in a local hotel underground parkade.  Police are in the process of identifying a male suspect who was captured on the hotel security video.
