
People interested in learning more about birds of prey and efforts to rescue them, will get the opportunity to do so on Sunday.
The South Okanagan Rehabilitation Centre for Owls will hold a public open house from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, May 5.
Visitors will have the opportunity to tour the facility, participate in the silent auction, visit the education booths and environmental displays and meet Houdini.
The rehabilitation centre north of OliverĀ rescues owls and all raptors.
One of its goals is to have a new clinic completed this year.
