Just read some interesting information that I will try to translate:
Five pollster companies doing surveys of voter trends in BC in 2013
In each poll sample about 800 people are used to check trends and preferences.
Polls below taken as early as January 11 and as late as May 2nd.
Top Number for Liberal Party 35% Bottom 26 percent
Top Number for NDP 51% Bottom 39 percent
Average Number for Liberal Party 32%
Average Number for NDP 44%
Green polling average of 11 percent
Conservatives polling average of 10 percent
Independents polling average of 3 percent
Movement or Momentum – Liberal numbers are rising up 3 NDP down 3 and Green winning a point while Conservatives losing a point.
Some analysis – Green and Liberal saw rise after debate with observers saying Ms. Clark and Ms. Sterk scored points and the two male party leaders stumbled.
Liberal Party poll standings never show a lead with the NDP always 12-13 points ahead at lowest, highest or average figures. Pollsters say margin is narrowing as voting is about to begin next week.
Unknown factor – strength of support for Green, Conservative or Independent supporters on election day. Will 24% voters decide to vote for either Liberal or NDP to help pick a winner.
