Members of the Regional GIS, Oliver RCMP and Penticton Police Dog Service executed a Controlled Drugs & Substances Act search warrant at one residence located on OIB reserve Thursday.
The two adult males were arrested at the residence and a search resulted in the location and seizure of various drug related items including: 21.26 grams of methamphetamine (suspected); cash; an airsoft rifle that closely resembled a real firearm; and ammunition for a .308 Winchester rifle.
Henry Joseph Baptiste, born 1972 of Oliver charged with Possession of a controlled substance for the Purpose of Trafficking. He was remanded into the custody of the Penticton RCMP jail until Monday.
A second man was released.
