Follow the Yellow Brick Rd – if Park Rill gets any higher at this location, it might do just that. The Park Rill drainage area is approximately 150 sq km in area and includes Victoria  Creek, Orofino Creek, Kearns Creek and more. Sawmill/Burnell, Taylor, Madden and Ripley Lakes all drain into Park Rill.

This spring is an exceptional year for the system with lots of water, some still in the form of snow. Many of these creeks are normally dry, but not this year, one can see this by following White Lake Road up to the Radio Observatory and Twin Lakes, which follows Park Rill most of the way. Near Twin Lakes, Park Rill follows Grand Oro Road into the hills. Along White Lake Road there are many ponds of collected water that will drain into the system so it will take some time for things to return to normal.
