On April 08, 2013 an Oliver resident, residing in the 6000 Block of Mountain view Drive, reported that at some point overnight an unknown person rummaged through their unlocked vehicle. Although nothing of value appeared to have been taken, this is a reminder that ‘we all’ should be dedicated to locking our vehicles. The phrase ‘Lock it or Lose it’ comes to mind.
On April 11, 2013 an Oliver resident turned in a Chrysler car audio cassette deck and a Sanyo VHS player which had been located in the alley behind St. Paul’s Lutheran Church. Although these items may have been discarded by some unknown person, this report is being provided considering the possibility that they can be reunited with their owner. On April 14, 2013 Oliver RCMP received a report of a break and enter into a shed adjacent to a house located in the 6000 block Park Drive. RCMP attended and observed the deadbolt to the shed had been jimmied open, likely with a pry bar. Items stolen include an orange Stihl weed eater (worth approx $170) and an electric boat motor (worth approx $175). The boat motor is a Minn Kota Endura 30″ black motor. This information is provided both as a public awareness courtesy and as an effort to solicit information.
