Next Sunday Premier Christy Clark, everyday British Columbians, and community leaders will share their hopes for B.C.’s future in a 30-minute television special.
“This program will kick off our campaign by talking in detail about the plans and vision Today’s BC Liberals will be sharing with British Columbians,” said Campaign Director Mike McDonald. “With all the economic risk surrounding BC it’s never been more important that leaders provide straight-forward, direct information to voters.”
The program, called “Strong Economy. Secure Tomorrow.” will air at 7 pm PT on Global TV. It will also be available online during the 28 day election period.

Vancouver – With the official start of the election campaign nearing, the B.C. NDP is stepping up its campaign for change for the better.
After nominating four candidates over the weekend, the New Democrats completed their team of 85 candidates.
The weekend was filled with NDP activity across the province, as New Democrats held nomination meetings, campaign office openings, and leaflet blitzes that saw hundreds of volunteers distribute thousands of leaflets.
“We can really feel enthusiasm for change for the better in campaign offices and on the doorstep throughout the province,” said Dix. “It’s a week before the campaign officially starts and we’ve got thousands of dedicated volunteers already active in their local campaigns.”
While volunteers are distributing thousands of leaflets to doorsteps across B.C., the party is also taking to the airwaves with a new TV ad that starts today.
