Councillor John Vassilaki (City of Penticton) says he thinks that he represents the concern of many in Penticton who are a bit surprised with the “big cut” program on Okanagan Beach this week.

Councillor Judy Sentes says the city went through a public engagement period and for each tree cut down – two mature trees will be planted. She says the cut trees were not healthy.
