Baldy is now closed for the season, and the weekend weather was perfect for all the special events. Your Baldy reporter, Sandra Smith was coerced into participating in the Pond Skim Slush Cup. A hole in the snow, a liner, and very cold water……….then one attempts to ski or snowboard across the pond without getting wet. I am wearing the skis in the photo, so you know what happened. Thank-you Warren Brown for the rescue.
