I am doing a Book Reading at the Oliver Library on Thursday April 4, at 11:30am
I will have copies of my book, Marjorie Too Afraid To Cry: A Home Child Experience, to sign and sell.
My mother Marjorie, who lives in Oliver, will be accompanying me.
Marjorie spent 5 years at the Prince of Wales Fairbridge Farm School on Vancouver Island, in the summer of 1940, Marjorie was later sent to work at the Fairbridge Fintry Training Farm just south of Vernon.
