Vandals cause damage on construction site. Builder Hart Buckendahl says this vandalism will cost close to a $1000 to fix with one complete panel that will have to be jack hammered out and re-laid. New construction at Willowglen in Oliver.

Smoke at Vaseux Lake is catching all kinds of attention. These small controlled burns are being done by someone who knows what he/she is doing. A box is used to pile waste for burning. Once the box is filled you light the fire and move to another area to conduct a second controlled burn. If you look at the site from the north (OK Falls side) you can see an upper bench or pathway corridor that seems to be – being built. This is well above the old KVR right-0f-way near the lake. Anyone know for sure??
