SOSS coming out with new apparel
by Reilly Irvine
Southern Okanagan Secondary School has come out with a new line of clothing for students and adults alike, and they’ve got some big reasons for doing it. As Steve Podmorrow explains, “We at SOSS have seen tragedy with the fire, and have been undergoing some major changes recently.” The teachers want to put a sense of school pride back within the students. “With the green and gold colours, we want our students to know and feel that they truly belong to this school.” By wearing this apparel, they can show their Hornet pride!
Partnering up with Skyline Athletics, a wide variety of clothing is now available. Starting at $11, the customer can choose from t-shirts, polos, hoodies, sweatpants, jackets and more, all bearing the school emblem. Those who are interested can go to THIS SITE and browse from the selection. Orders may be placed directly on the site with either Mastercard or Visa. The deadline for buying is midnight of April 7th, 2013. The order will then ship to SOSS, where it can be picked up.
You don’t have to be on a sports team to be a Hornet. Every student and supporter of the school is one, so get your gear, and go Hornets!
