Marguerite was born on May 7, 1923 in Lac du Bonnet, Manitoba. Raised in Gravelbourg, Saskatchewan she met and married John Rotheisler in 1941 and together they travelled to Oliver in 1947 with 4 year old Ernie in tow. Six years later Randy was born and the family was complete. Those beginning years were hard years. She spent 25 years working in the Haynes Packing House and then many more years alongside her husband doing the books for their business Rotheisler Equipment. They not only worked together but also square danced, golfed, and curled for many years. Later in life they did a lot of travelling to other countries as well. Marguerite was a member of the Catholic Women’s League, the Royal Purple, the Women’s Hospital Auxiliary and the Royal Canadian Legion. She was a most avid Bridge Player and at one time belonged to three different groups playing each week. Later in life her grandchildren were her greatest joy.
