The BC Conservative Party has notified ODN that Mischa Popoff will carry the Tory banner in this riding.

Jeff Bridge says “I am the Campaign Manager for the BC Conservative Party and yes Mischa Popoff is our candidate”.  (see bulletin below)

Popoff is the second named candidate of a recognized party in BC. The other is Linda Larson of the Liberals.

The NDP are still stuck on the rules and fairness naming three persons who will seek official status in April at a location yet to be determined.

Green Party? – anyone?

Individual Rights Party? – anyone else?

John Cummins, leader of the BC Conservatives, today announced the nomination of two new candidates for the general election on May 14, 2013.

Mischa Popoff will represent the party in Boundary-Similkameen, and Kevin Rakhra is seeking election in Surrey-Panorama.

“Mischa and Kevin have been – and are – extremely active in public and community affairs,” said Cummins. “Both are vitally interested in the future of our province, and they’ll be exceptional representatives for their constituents in Victoria.”
